Her Grandfather teach her how to ring the bell of Butsudan.

Well last Friday in commemoration of Obon festival we went again to Anjo City  to visit the grave of my mother in law who passed away almost four years ago also  to offer a pray in the Butsudan.  The main reason going there is to have a reunion with my husband’s relatives which happens every year. We had a rich and delicious dinner that night while chatting and laughing and of course the main attraction was my baby Erika, she sing and dance and made gestures that we really enjoy watching.

Next Day it was Saturday we went to Anjo’s nearby place Kariya City where my sister in law lives. There was a live kiddie show and attractions that Erika love to watch. At night there was the famous Hanabi Taikai or firework show wherein people excited to see. Before the night comes the place is crowded with a plastic vinyl seat (my husband called it blue seat ) for a good view of the fireworks at night. My sister in law made us onigiri or riceball we ate while watching the hanabi.

Every time Erika wacth this video she always clap her hands.

Note: Erika had her mumps virus vaccine today.

baby at the restaurant

Yesterday we went to a nearby family restaurant for lunch. Inside we requested for a baby chair so that Erika can sit with us at the table at first she likes her place but after a while she wanted to go down and play. At this time it is still not safe for her to sit on the chair especially if theres no seat belt because she always moves and wanted to stand.

So I put her in the corner of my chair (like a sofa) and there she did play with her bag.

She carries her bag like a woman so cute.

After lunch we went to a flower shop.

On the other hand today Erika got her MR vaccine (1st stage). I hope she  don’t get fever and other side effects of the vaccine.

She can talk “wa wa ” as flower

“ba ba” as bubbles when were inside the bathroom

“ba-” as bag

“bu bu” (brooom broom) for cars

And she always calls as “mama” & “papa”

Lately, they were amazed by the things I can do, one thing is remembering things. When they ask me “Jibun no sashin wa? “(where is your picture?) I will respond by looking on the direction of my picture hanging on the wall. “Sakana wa?” (where is the fish?) I will look on the aquarium located on our genkan and so on and so forth. Vaccine

It was yesterday when three of us went to the hospital (the place where I was born) for my BCG vaccine, since mom cannot read kanji dad escorted us because there was a form that need to be filled and all written in kanji . It was about our family health background; mom have a history of tuberculosis and was healed three years before … for that reason dad was hesitate to give me the vaccine.

We meet the doctor (not the same doctor of my heart problem) and they talked about moms’ history of tuberculosis they say that since mom was healed before I was born they think that its okay to give me the vaccine, another thing dad asked was about my heart problem …. the doctor says that my heart problem doesn’t matter, then after the conversation the doctor with his stethoscope checked my heartbeat after a long silent he said that he didn’t hear any murmur (thanks God). So the conversation ends with a smile on my parents face.

We hope that the hole in my heart had closed because this month of 17th I still need to have an echo x-ray. Anyway we left the hospital because the BCG vaccination there were scheduled every Friday and we didn’t got an appointment because it was full so we landed into small hospital near our place. This time it was a long conversation about me and moms’ health history. In the end instead of the vaccine the doctor gave me a tuberculin skin test. We stayed there about half an hour to observe me for any reaction. They need to observe me for 48 hours and if no reaction occurs we will go back there tomorrow for a true BCG vaccine.
