I am sure you will not agree with mom calling my first drawing an “art” because it was only made up of lines with no direction. But for my mother she considered this an art. Writing this art was accidentally happened when I grabbed the pen on the table and mom saw an old calendar and she got an idea of teaching me how to hold and write using a pen. I used the old calendar’s back pages for making this drawing. Dad saw it and told my mom to take a picture of it for a remembrance.
Mom applied the message of my drawing to me. She thought that these lines are like babies … no directions and doesn’t thinks about boundaries and limits. Just like while ago aside from the calendar I also like to write on the wall and chair and I want to eat my pen … that is why babies like me need someone to guide us to know the right from wrong so we can shape our future. (Maybe) that is the meaning and message of my art.
From now on watch me how I slowly transform this art of mine from lines without direction to shape and figures in this coming years.
